Michelle M. Brown writes YA fantasy featuring kick-ass heroines, luscious magic, and savage monsters. She’s never met a Christopher Moore novel she didn’t like. And though her Hogwarts letter still hasn’t arrived, she remains hopeful. After earning a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Biology, Michelle somehow ended up as a speech-language pathologist. She works at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where she holds an advanced competency in Reading & Literacy, working with patients to develop their reading skills. Michelle lives in Cincinnati, Ohio (Westside!) with her incredible husband and a small herd of Boston Terriers. She loves studying story-craft, which she writes about on this blog, LearningFromGreatLit.com. You can follow her on Twitter at @Cincy_Michelle.
